At this close you see things that you wonder what in the world is that. Lovely color, but strange things, i.e., the black hair on the green.

I did like the sepals, Becky but couldn't crop any more out.

Wow, the details we don't get to see with our normal eyesight!

Wes, from now on, will you please say whether you make a macro image with your little Olympus, or with your Nikon D3 and the 100mm macro lens?

If the Olympus does a great job on macros, I might just as well get one of these instead of spending money on a 100mm macro! The Olympus is more versatile than a macro lens.

The Olympus E-P1 is a very nice camera, Flo and has some features that are close to an DLSR but it weighs nothing compared to the D3. Right now, it has a 14-42mm lens on it but I have ordered a 42-200mm. There is a 2X factor though so we are looking at 29-84 with this lens and then 84-400 with the new one. I used one one day and it is truly amazing at the detail it can capture. There is no end to what a person can spend on camera gear, no matter which camera it is. I will never forsake my D3, it is just getting a little rest.

Wes, I thought your Olympus was a point-n-shoot or one of the small ones that looks like a midget DSLR - but I had no idea this has interchangeable lenses!

I just may rethink how I go about shooting images!
