Greenfly on Sweet peas just before I dosed them.

This with my sigma 70/300 in macro mode with three Kenko ext tubes.

this one 18/55 kit lens with tubes.

BTW, Flo and Wes thanks for the good wishes in the other post, looks like the concussion has gone.

What a nice capture of some nasty little varmits, Garth. Glad you doused them but feel sorry for those animals that miss out on this great smorgasbord. Really like the details in the really close up image.

Garth, so glad to hear your concussion is gone! Yay!

Didn't using those extension tubes really cut way down on the light entering the lens, tho? I'm amazed you could get anything in focus - with the slow shutter speed you probably had to use. The wind must not have been blowing, lol.

I love seeing the close up details. The background colors are beautiful, too.

The colors here are really nice, I can't imagine how close you had to get though for the detail. Nice image.

Very close, in the second one exif is 100thsec f9 @ 55mm in manual, iso was 640 ran both through Noiseware Pro. The first was a good foot away with three tubes on, 125th, f13 @ 220 mm. ISO the same. Next bit of NAS will have to be a dedicated macro lens. Lol. Thanks Becky, the colours will be the flowers and leaves.
