You may know this better as the Iwo Jima Memorial. In fact, it honors the Marines who have fought in significant battles in many wars.

This is a powerful statue and your POV is also just as powerful. I like the way you caught the flag in the brightness of the sun. It makes a connection between a higher power and our military.
