Hard to tell where the floor ends and the reflections start! You must have put the camera on the floor. Great POV. Almost looks like a swimming pool, the pavement is so shiny - or is that a pool to the left?

Rick, I just looked at your Getty gallery. You have quite an eye for the unusual angles and abstracts. Your waterlily and people images are great, too.

Is the bird in your avatar your pet bird?

Thank you so very much...The bird is Mishka...
He is an 11 year old Senegal Parrot I've had since he was 6 month. A very smart boy....talks up a storm...
Thanks again Flo...
I hope to be spending more time here.
Rick

that is one beautiful black and white image! How did you manage to capture such a range of tone (multiple exposures blended - HDR)?

I am also very impressed by your unique choice of viewing angle which has managed to capture the beautiful soffit overhead and yet also captures most of the other architectural elements giving the viewer a sense of place and grandeur.

As a practicing architect I can't help but ask if you have an architectural background or are an architectural photographer - well done!

Pablo, thank you...No architectural background here.
I place the camera on the ground for this shot.
It was shot in RAW. I cropped a lot of the foreground and converted it to b/w in Lightroom 2 and tweaked the color filters. It almost has an IR look to it.
thank you again!
Rick
