Hi Wes,

I am so glad to see all went well. You have been in my thoughts and prayers since I first heard. I know you have been in good hands from your doctors to your friends and all of us here.

Just wanted to let you know how much we care about you. I am lookin for the photo of you dancing in Savannah at the fountain to post it in the spirit of "I Hope You Dance"

Take care and speedy recover,
Tim

Thanks for your prayers and thoughts, Tim. I have needed all the help I can get. Went to hear Craig perform at an aopen mike last night in Milwaukee and during one song, actually got onto the dance floor and joined a group in a free form dance. It was a fantastic moment full of joy, love and connection.

Big surpriseSeptember 23, 2009 @ 2:18pm
I received a small box this week that had a beautiful lone star do-rag in it. I didn't see a name but, together we figured it had to be Murry. If it was you Murry, thank you so much. I don't know who else to suspect. Anyhow, I am wearing it to cardio rehab to day so that I will have strenth to get through the the exercises.

I appreciate the gift so much.

Glad the Lonestar rag arrived Wes. I thought you might need it when you travel to the Big Bend later this fall? I'm really glad to hear that you are making good progress each day. Best wishes!!

So sorry I am so late at getting back to you, Sebastian, but am still trying to strighten out of the twists and turns that seem to align themselves with this healing process. I love the card a lot, and it gives me something to look forward to. I can't wait until the "the good as new part is here". No do-rag needed here. The energy is what I need.

Thank you so much for your thoughtfulness.

Rising from the ashes,

Wes

I'm glad you like it, Wes. I'm just so happy to hear your healing process is going so well that a few of those twists and turns were on the dancefloor!Dancing

Hello Wes...

If you're reading these messages, I just wanted to add a few more words of encouragement. I miss your contributions here, but understand that you have more important things to do right now.

Please don't feel an obligation to respond. Use your energy to recover. We'll see you back here soon.

Missed you in the Grand Tetons!!!October 4, 2009 @ 12:24pm
Hi Wes,

In your honor -- and sending thoughts for continued improvement -- the entire group from the Grand Teton National Park workshop donned flaming heart doo-rags and sent you this photo. We intended to do it mid-week, but were just too busy having fun -- and missing you, of course.

Anyway, here are good wishes from the Grand Teton group. Picture compliments of Scott on the workshop:

Ahhhh, the ass grabbing photo was posted!October 4, 2009 @ 2:42pm
Wes,

I was one of the participants at the Teton Workshop. Your name came up over and over so I feel I know you a little bit.

Now home from the workshop, I'm so happy to read you are recovering well. I hope to meet you some day at a future TME workshop.

There was a lot of ASS grabbing going on in the group photo just uploaded. Now home, I'm glad I didn't give in to some group pressure to get a small tattoo on my ass, or I might have had to flaunt it in the group photo.

Wishes for continued recovery.

Some for Wes, too!October 4, 2009 @ 10:09pm
I also sent a few of the flaming heart doo-rags to Wes and Usha so that they could be a part of the festivities of celebrating Wes' very big and generous heart. Hope to see an image of Wes wearing his soon. Open Arms

What a great looking group and how nice of all of you to post. I am late in replying but things have been pretty hectic. Part of my mind was at the workshop during the whole week and I feel very special to get to share in the wearing of the flaming cherries do-rag. Thanks a lot Marti.

Hey, Wes! What a great self-portrait! You do look good in that do-rag and smiling, too, I must say! All's well that ends well, right? I'm so glad you made it safely home, too - to a pile of mail, I'll bet, lol. At least you can sit down to look at it.
