We just had our end of summer golf outing and I had some fun trying out some strobist techniques. Stopped down a bit and added a fill flash on the ground camera right. Usual post processing plus a pass with the old lucis plug-in to bring out a gritty feel.

Reactions welcome!

Best Wishes,
Eric

Hi Eric,
I think you did a great job here. You can tell the sun is camera left so if you didn't use this fill your subject would have had a lot of shadows. You filled it in nicely without overpowering the sun and making the background look too dark. Beautiful clouds in the background as well.

I agree with Sean, Eric. Do you have any other images from that outing?

What a nice portrait. I do like the "gritty" feel given that it is outdoors and your lighting techniques worked well.
