I didn't know where to post this, but since Wes's 'news' went in here I thought that it'll do.

Speaking to Tony this morning he had bad news.

His nephew was killed in a car crash in the early hours of the morning. A tragedy for everyone concerned.

I'm thinking of you mate.......

I've read "the thread" It's a given, go for it!!

There are no words that truly express what needs to be said at times like this, but our prayers are certainly with Tony's family.

Tony/Boney - Please accept my condolences for your loss. I'm sure your nephew is in a much better place now, with lots of love and support. It's hard for those of us who are left behind, because we don't understand the whys and hows of our Creator's workings.

My condolences for the family and for our virtual friend Tony. God Bless!

Janet

Go ahead and play with the images. I would ask that when you post them on other sites (such as Flikr, Photobucket, etc.) that you credit my photography. I would do the same for you! Other than that, I'm E Z T D B W.

I agree with all of the above. There aren't any words I can say, other than I'm sorry.

WoW its been a long time since Ive lurked around here and I hadn't seen this post before so forgive me for not thanking you guys for your thoughts and prayers.
its been a while now since Ezra was taken from us and we still miss him to the degree that its beyond words really.
However on the up side his passing has drawn our family together in a way I wouldn't have dreamed possible.
it placed us all on the same page and our family is now stronger than ever.
Ezras death had a huge impact on his small country community and has opened doors for the youth to be engaged and this continues to this day with many of the local youth giving their hearts to God while others have made major changes to their lives and their values esp drinking.
Ezra was killed by a drunk driver, unwisely Ez was a passenger having been picked up on the side of a remote road up a mountain resort here he had just knocked off work,a pickup had been ordered it did not turn up but his drunk mate did .Being miles from home in the dark of night it must have been hard to turn a ride down.Ez was sober but made a fatal mistake he never made it home ,he was killed instantly so their was no pain ,the driver suffered not even a scratch. This tragedy opened up a doorway to the youth of their township meetings were held in the town hall and still continue in my brother house where he now helps many Young men and woman to tackle life head on.Although we miss him his death has not been in vain.
and again thanks for your kind thoughts guys .

Tony, it's so nice to have you back. Thanks for the update. It's stories like this that help others who have lost loved ones realize that all life has a purpose, including deaths that have a purpose for those of us still living. I'm sure that Ezra is very happy to know that his death has accomplished so many changes of a positive nature in the family and community of which he was a part.

Tony -- It's great to know that you are still around and doing well. I'm so sorry about Ezra, but I'm glad to know that his life and death had such a positive impact on your family and the community.

I've missed your stories, along with your images to illustrate them.

Welcome back!!
