Nice job of capturing a quick and unpredictable subject. I really like the hard cut made by the surfer.
I wonder if the subject was pushed down more to the lower right and the shot was a little looser, would the kite be visible?

| February 16, 2010 @ 7:16pm | Thanks Chris and Flo. The lens was a Canon EF100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS shot at 400mm. The Kit was really high up so even at 100mm I don't think I could have captured it.

| February 19, 2010 @ 9:33pm | Great shot. Great color, composition and perfect shutter speed. I shoot windsurfers and kite boarders in the Columbia River Gorge and it is hard to get the boarder and the kite in the same image and still have a good close-up detail.
