Please Keep Kel in Your PrayersApril 21, 2010 @ 11:11am
Hello everyone,

It is with great sadness that I bring you the news of the passing of Kel's grandmother. For those of you new to the Community, Kel is our wonderful site developer who keeps things running for us.

Kel brought her grandmother from California to live with her here in Atlanta just a short time back, thinking she would have a much longer time to enjoy her company. That was not to be.

Nana passed away last night at 11:02 PM at Kel's home after a stay in the hospital.

Peace be with you, Nana.

Kel, I'm so sorry for your loss. But it was probably Nana's time to pass on. It's my belief that now she's comfortable and surrounded by all the love she could ever want, and then someSmile

Kel, you are definitely in my thoughts and prayers. It is tough to lose a loved one but something that we must do when the time comes. Thank you for being here with us on TME.

I know that you must have fond memories of your nana and those will help you through this time of sorrow.

My love and prayers,
Wes

You have my heartfelt sympathy. I too know what it is to care for and lose a loved one. There comes a time when the passing is a blessing for that person even though it leaves a huge hole in your own life. Remember how you have grown while caring for the loved one and cherish the time you had together. The memories you have will certainly be treasures as you reflect on your time together.

God Bless,

Janet

Go ahead and play with the images. I would ask that when you post them on other sites (such as Flikr, Photobucket, etc.) that you credit my photography. I would do the same for you! Other than that, I'm E Z T D B W.

Kel,

Thank you for all you do for this world. Although we have never met I have heard of all of the wonderful things that you have done in your life. The time that you had with your grandmother is priceless and must have been very special for you. Cherish those memories in your heart and she will be with you forever. I wish for you peace, love and happiness.

Kind Regards,
-bill

Kel,
Though we have never met, please know my heart goes out to you as you grieve the loss of your "Nana." I know there are no words which can ease your sorrow. That said, a friend of mine once said to me during a time of loss, "A death may end a life, but never a relationship."

I never forgot those words. I hope they bring you comfort as well.

With deepest sympathy,

Lisa (psycchic1)

Kel, I'd like to add my heartfelt sympathies to those of the rest of the community. Although the time was much too short, it must have been a blessing to have had the time you did with her.
