This was a son's first time shooting and the title seems fitting as the father had an encouraging yet quiet, calming effect. He spoke softly while instructing the young boy on the rules of shooting and gun safety and soon he was hitting his clay targets.

I am a beginner who welcomes all helpful suggestions and challenges to grow.

I'll bet the father and son would appreciate prints of these images. They are very nice, sharp and clear and show exactly what is happening.

In the first shot it would be better to move to the right some. There is too much empty space on the left and the gun is cut on the right.

Although as Flo said these are very nice, sharp and clear shots.
