Playing with textures. Used gradient map in PS to convert to B&W, added 2 textures and a couple of curves adjustments. Bit of a vignette in lightroom.

Thanks John, This is the color version, it's a tight crop of shot taken from a long distance with a 200mm lens. The dark vertical line near the kite is a blade of one of the reeds growing in the dunes.

I like what you did in the B&W conversion - it makes that reed stripe seem like it's intentional. Love the texture - seems like it's raining.

I prefer by far the B&W version. I enjoy the PP a lot. But what is very appealing to me is the characters' expressions and gestures. Very successful. Chapeau!
