I've left the posting to late again, it's after midnight and I've work in the morning so just a pic and no wordinessSmile

Can there be an explosion of change in people that is powerful enough to shift events?

I love all the subtle tones of gray in this conversion. The pilings look like they are supporting the sky!

Have you tried moving clear to the right so that the wall comes out of the lower left corner? I'm wondering if there are enough elements from that viewpoint to make an image from that POV. But it may not look as simple and uncluttered as it does from this angle.

My first thought was Stonehenge underwater! Which then reminded me of a TV program projecting the world after people. Great images can tell multiple stories.
Clearly a long exposure (bracketed?) so the sea must have been very calm that evening.

I agree with Flo about the tones. My thought would be to crop up from the bottom so that the wall comes out of the lower right corner. Yes, that puts the horizon in the middle, but...

Thanks for the comments folks!! All the crop suggestions would work really well,! although it's not a wall but a railway sleeper. This is a blend of two shots one a 4sec and the other at f/8 for sharpness.

I might have managed it with a single shot but the ISO was to high "again". I didn't notice because I was in a panic as I thought the camera was broken... the aperture would not change... thankfully it was just the mode dial had moved somehow? as I never move it off manual.
