| Temporary Shelter | June 29, 2010 @ 6:41am | This must be from the Robins' 2nd brood.

Larger
I placed the shell fragment in a small shiny white dish, set it on the kitchen counter top and used only the natural window light.
Lensbaby with the soft focus optic plus the 37-52mm step up ring plus the macro attachment from the Opteka semi-fisheye lens attachment.
ISO 800 (I think); WB daylight; Aperture priority; f/stop is whatever the soft focus optic is; shutter speed probably 1/100; hand held. Distance to subject between 1-2 inches.
PP - I did a little color adjusting and maybe increased contrast a tad.

| June 29, 2010 @ 9:41am | There is something nicely resonant about this like a faded memory perhaps. Interesting and well done.
