I took a walk around our arts center yesterday with the idea of taking some shots of the old architecture.
They have a triangular pool there and I found this to be more interesting. The reflection is of one of the old windows distorted by the ripples in the water. It took me about 5 minutes of hanging around waiting for the tiny whirlpool to make some movement. Without it, the image would have looked quite static.

Alfred - Great image. I think the high contrast black and white works really well with the contrast between the curves of the whirlpool and drain and the rectangular patterns of the tiles and window. Really nice work.

I agree with Steve. This is a very striking B&W image. Waiting was worth it. This is a subtly dynamic composition, in more than one sense.

There were literally 6 other people there taking pictures and they all gave me a funny look when I went to take this lol.
