Reached our local park on time to witness the lily bloom and managed to capture this abstract.

Setup:
Canon XTi with 100mm Macro (non-IS) on trpod at ISO 100, F2.8, Exposure 1/350.

Drop dead gorgeous! How about darkening just a tad along the top to balance - but not imitate - the greens at the bottom?

I agree with Flo, just lovely. I really want to get in even closer, or perhaps just see this much larger.

Waterlilies are hard to shoot. I have seen a number of OK images. This one is stunning. It is soft, tender and whimsical. Love the color palette as well. Well done.

I agree with everyone else. This is simply stunning.

Go ahead and play with the images. I would ask that when you post them on other sites (such as Flikr, Photobucket, etc.) that you credit my photography. I would do the same for you! Other than that, I'm E Z T D B W.
