I dont' yet know the reason for taking this image. This happens quite often and it's not until much later that I recognise something in the image that speaks to me. Pretty much had in mind how I wanted it to look though.

Actually I think this evokes a very ethereal mood in me. I like this shot and the gauzy light feeling I get. Like the treatment too.

Alfred, I too love the quote in your sig.

And the word "transparency" came to mind the minute I saw your beautiful image. The flower lifts its head wide open to the Light. It is a metaphor for "transparency in action" - which is something all of us humans need to cultivate more!
