The fog was throwing some interesting light on the ocean this morning. The best moments lasted but a second or two and so I missed several. I rather wish the gull was larger but I couldn't bring myself to compositing.

Lot of gray top and bottom. I've been getting more into panoramic so please excuse me for lifting this and making a panoramic of it. It didn't make the sea gull much bigger! This is cropped to 8" x 20". It make's my eyes wander side to side rather than up and down. I think we naturally see in panoramic.

I pity the man never loved by a dog!

Thanks Don. The pano approach does suit these ocean/sky images. I took a second look and cropped tighter, although still not pano. Getting rid of the light area at the top improves the image IMO.

I have looked at this several times. Initially I would think "what calm", but there is a tension to it that keeps bringing me back. I do like making it a bit more of a panoramic.
