I love the square format and the composition. It is probably due to jpeg compression artifacts, but in this small size, it looks very over-sharpened to me. Especially around the buildings where the contrast is greatest.

Or - did you use a graduated neutral density filter to hold back the brightness in the sky? The lower line of the filter's dark area could be right below the building tops.

great image Mohsin.love the leading line to the buildings, and love the human element too. The high contrast B&W conversion works very well, except for the halo over the buildings and over the foliage on the left. It should be easy to fix in PS.

I really like th emood this image creates. Kind of a long and emotional road to a far off place. Nicely done.

Because I like thi simage so much...I would like to suggest a tiny change...can you crop off the slight distracting tree in the upper right hand corner? Just a small disctraction to a beautiful image.

Love the people in it too....

Thanks all for comments and suggestions.
Actual image was almost destroyed by overexposed sky and dense shadows in foreground. Only part of cloud and the foot bridge were well exposed. First, I put this photo in faulted images, but then I thought give it a dramatic shape. The hollowness over building is due to fill in more light by using Camera Raw. The color distraction on left is due to the color correction in sky, otherwise it was just white. I am ready to share its original image file if anyone of you can help to me process it more better.

The color version of this image is shared below (after incorporating Usha's suggestion). Looking forward to your comments.

Haven't a clue how to tell you what I don't like about the color image. It's as ugly to me as the B/W is beautiful! That B/W id treffic! Then I generally like B/W's better. I didn't notice the tree on the right side till it was pointed out. A matt would probably get rid of most if not all of it.

Great photo!

I like the image and prefer the black and white - I am a B&W fan anyway.
