An interesting new succulent flower....

| An interesting new succulent flower.... | July 24, 2010 @ 7:38am | Recently purchase this succelent in the Texas Hill Country and could not help photographing the interesting little flower it is displaying.....
I shot this with a Olympus E-30 with 50mm lens and extension tube. Incidently, I don't know what the plant is called.

| July 24, 2010 @ 7:43am | Love the reds against the green, Jeff. I also like the bluish gray stems that hold the flowers. I am assuming that this blossom will spread out a bit further as it matures, is that right. Succulent blooms are great fun to capture, for sure.

| Flowers | July 24, 2010 @ 5:57pm | Bill, the little flowers are tiny, maybe 3/8". The string of flowers in the image are about 1-1/2" to 2"...
