I imagine a vast landscape with a road running through, and then notice what looks like ripples of water in contrast to the "desert". Near/far, dry/wet (desert/foliage), macro/micro...

Juxtapositions which challenge my perception in intriguing ways.

Thank you kindly, April. It's a look down into one of the many fountains in Bern. The structure comes from the stone, the color from algae and the ripples are actually real water ripples.
