How do I prepare an image for submission to The Mindful Eye (TME)?
After processing your image, please set the resolution of the image at 72 ppi and size it so that the longest dimension of the image is no smaller than 1000 pixels and no larger than 1024 pixels.
Then, save it as a JPG, with a quality of 9 in Adobe Photoshop.
How do I submit an image?
TME members may submit images for the Daily Critique, the Photo of the Week, and the Inspiration Image Showcase. To get started click
here to go to our "Image Submissions" page.
Complete the submission form, choose the image you want to submit from your computer, check the box at the bottom of the submission for indicating that you have read The Mindful Eye's submission policy and click on the "Submit" button.
What happens if I get an error message?
If you get this error message:
"Image must be a JPEG with the longest dimension between 1000 and 1024 pixels."
It means that your image is sized incorrectly. Please resize it so that the longest side is between 1000 and 1024 pixels.
Do you use all of the submissions you receive?
We receive many submissions for our image submission features. We deeply appreciate your generosity and courage in sharing your work. Unfortunately, we are not able to use all of these submissions.
How often can I submit an image?
As often as you like!
