Reservation and Cancellation Policies for The Mindful Eye's Inspirational Weekends 2010
Because of the effort our instructors put into preparing for the weekends, the loss of income to our instructors due to cancellations and because of the tremendous value of our Inspirational Weekends, the cancellation policies for the Weekends are different than those of the regular workshops.
The fee for any of the Inspirational Weekends is due at the time you register for the Weekend. If you wish to attend as a part of a group, there are discounts available. Please contact us via our online
contact form and select Workshops in the choices for subject. In the Message section, please let us know the Inspirational Weekend in which you are interested in attending as a group.
If you are registered as an individual and must cancel your reservation on one of our Inspirational Weekends 31 or more days prior to the weekend, one half of your registration fee will be refunded to you. If you cancel your reservation 30 days or less from the date of the Weekend, all of your registration fee will be retained. You may always sell your reservation to another person. If you do this, please let us know right away the name of the person to whom you sold your spot so that we can change the name on our roster for the weekend.
If you are registered as a part of a group, and you cancel 31 or more days prior to the weekend, one half of your registration fee will be refunded to you. If you cancel your reservation 30 days or less from the date of the Weekend, all of your registration fee will be retained. If your cancellation brings the number of people attending as a group below the minimum requirement for the discount, the remaining members of the group may be charged the full fee. Of course, the group may always sell the open position to someone else and substitute the new name for that of the person who cancelled. If this happens, please let us know right away so that we can update our roster for the Weekend
In the very rare and unfortunate situation where we are forced to cancel a Weekend , all of your tuition will be returned. In all of our combined teaching experience, we have never had to cancel an event once we started accepting registrations.
Trip and Equipment Insurance
We strongly suggest that you purchase trip insurance for your trip, especially once you've made non-refundable airline reservations, to protect against unforeseen situations (such as the flooding of Death Valley a few years ago that closed the park for a short time or other acts of nature). Trip insurance also protects you against lose of your tuition if you have to cancel your participation in a workshop due to an emergency at work, illness or illness of a family member.
In addition, we highly recommend that you have insurance for all of your camera and computer equipment.
