in this week’s Photo of the Week on the Daily Critique Craig discusses a beautiful architectural photograph and discusses the following:
- instead of looking at photographs as either abstract or literal considering abstract as a concept that can represent a continuum from partial to total abstraction
- the potential conceptual power of partial abstractions
- repetition as a powerful unifying force in visual design
- shadows as subjects - getting the most out of capture by shooting at the optimum aperture for visual acuity
