In today’s Daily Critique Craig looks at a beautiful macro photograph and discusses the following:

- three ways to get to high magnification

- size of our light source relative to our subject

- creating an abstraction by working with shallow depth of field and showing only part of the subject

- beautiful repeating shapes and qualities of line

- playing in Photoshop to create some surreal color effects
