| January 5, 2009 @ 8:46am | This is gorgeous. It speaks to me on many levels. I like the blue overcast as well. It speaks of cold mornings and frosty water. I might wish for a bit more of another color but not much, just for a bit of variety. Nice scenery.

Go ahead and play with the images. I would ask that when you post them on other sites (such as Flikr, Photobucket, etc.) that you credit my photography. I would do the same for you! Other than that, I'm E Z T D B W. |

I also like the combination of the orange colors in the sky working with the small abount of green in the evergreens along the creek. Looks like a great place for shooting, even if it does look chilly.

| January 5, 2009 @ 9:12am | Welcome, Steve! And what a great first image! I love all the subtle colors from cold to warm. I also love all the details you captured. Seems there's another stone arched bridge in the distance. A very lovely scene. Makes me want to see it in person, even tho I don't like the cold.

And, yes, it was as cold as it looks!

| January 5, 2009 @ 9:55am | Hi Steve, Welcome to the forum. I’d say you’ve captured the cold beautiful. The overall blue with the touch of orange works very well.. I like the composition. The rocks and stone bridge help to make it feel brutally cold. I like how my eye wants to stay in this image and explore. Charlene
