Love the combinations of the orange and blue colors, Rob. Great job of stitching these together.

Rich oranges and more subtle purply-blue colors. Just a wonderful tapestry. If you hadn't told us this is stitched from 2 images, we'd never know. Love the backlight and the slow shutter speed, too.

Beautiful photo! Not sure how you got the name though and what did you stich? Top to bottom? I can't do that stuff!

I really like the tone and colors here. The bottom portion of the image has a very dreamy look while upper portion is very sharp.

Thanks to all for very kind and thoughtful comments. Honestly, this image exists nowhere else but only in the sunshine of my mind. I was almost ashamed to say that this photo is actually a composite of two different images taken at different places and different times. By trial and error, I was able to stitch together the upper half, which was taken in Diamond Bar, California around fall last year - with the lower half, which was taken in Philippines late last year. I guess one can say it's an image where West meets East in a stream of ever changing water.

I made another version here:

Thanks for looking. Cheers.

For Heaven's sake, Rob! Two different images from two different parts of the world???!!! Amazing that you could get such a great composition from combining them! WOW! Thanks for telling us. This may inspire some others who are good with PS to try things like this.

In your 2nd version, the colors are very saturated - energetic and surreal. I prefer the first version, as it looks more natural.
