Larger

Not quite as "rhapsodic" as the other abstract's title today. Both images were taken from the same rusty object.

I guess they could also be hamburgers on skewers, too, huh, Flo. I do see stacks of cakes up and down the skewers. you have such a crazy imagination. Now what really is this?

Thanks, Wes. It's just a detail of the side of a rusty sculpture. Rusted deliberately, or allowed to rust deliberately.

I enjoy the hues and patterns in this image. They're very organic, reminding me of tree bark and mushrooms.

But I have to question "Pancakes on Skewers" as a title?! It's certainly not pretentious, but perhaps also too dismissive?

Thanks, April. Now, if my title seems a bit wimpy, what is your suggestion, lol?

My first thought had been of cattails - but then I looked closer. Perhaps I was hungry when I thought they looked like stacks of pancakes, lol? Yes, that must have been it - I just checked the time stamp and it was lunchtime here in the eastern time zone.

Stacks of CDs or DVDs? OK, let's hear it - what's a better title?
