Somewhere over the...May 17, 2012 @ 1:31am
So I was watering the garden and just like magic or global warming this beautiful rainbow apeared. I put down the hose and ran into the house to get the camera but when I returned the rainbow was gone!
So I started watering the garden and it appeared again! So I put th hose down and set up the camera but the ranbow dissappared again. Hard to believe but true. Who knew that rainbows are camera shy? I managed to sneak this one by pretending to water the garden while whistling and looking away, camera on tripod. Here is a detail shot.

Here is a shot of the whole camera shy thing. I went for a shovel to dig a hole for the pot of gold but when I came back surprise surprise it was gone again....Hard to believe but true.

Beautiful images - funny story. Rainbows can be quite elusive - the angle has to be just right.

A great moment and quick thinking, Michael. The first one reminds me of metal for some reason
