| August 5, 2009 @ 11:52am | I will be signing up for the Inspirational Weekend in Austin as soon as the registration opens up. It will be my first TME "gig" and I can't wait!!
I read about the workshops in Savannah and am wondering, have you ever held any workshops in the Atlanta, GA area and are there any (potential) plans to do so?
Thanks much, Robin

| August 5, 2009 @ 6:19pm | HI Robin
Thanks for your enthusiasm about the Austin Weekend. Registration will be opening soon for Austin. The Seattle Weekend is now open for registration.
We've not conducted workshops in Atlanta. It would be convenient since both Craig and I live in the Atlanta area -- one of us north and the other east of the city. The size of Savannah make is so much easier to get around and get to our shooting locations. And, it is a very pedestrian city to boot. Atlanta, as much as we love it, is spread out across a large geographical area and can be a difficult to plan to meet up in the various shooting locations in any sort of timely manner. Trying to caravan in our traffic would be a holy nightmare. We have no plans for an Atlanta based workshop in 2010. But, one never knows!

| August 6, 2009 @ 3:16pm | Thanks, Marti. You're right about Atlanta...no way to get anywhere quickly or conveniently. Until a year ago, we had lived there (Roswell) for 16 years. Sounds like I'm going to have to look into a Savannah Workshop.
If you or Craig ever in the downtown area and are hankerin' for great food, grab a bottle (or 3) of wine and check out Dynamic Dish, on Edgewood Avenue. http://www.dynamicdish.net My brother, David Sweeney is the chef/owner.
Looking forward to Austin.
Cheers, Robin

| August 6, 2009 @ 5:32pm | Hi Robin --
Sounds like you and I overlapped in Roswell. I've been here in the same house for almost 25 years!!!
Just looked at your brother's website and it all looks delicious!! Makes me hungry. I'll have to give it a try.
Looking forward to Austin also!

| December 12, 2009 @ 2:14pm | Hi Marty/Craig,
Whatever happened to the Inspirational Weekend in Los Angeles that was scheduled for sometime in January? I remember you were actively looking for a suitable place to conduct the workshop. Has the workshop been canceled? If so, I must say I would be extremely disappointed as I've been looking forward to this for so many months!

| December 13, 2009 @ 7:58am | Hi Abhi,
Yes, we did decide to change out two locations -- Los Angeles and Cleveland -- for two others -- Phoenix and Nashville -- for 2010. We had several good reasons for doing this and believe we made the right decision for 2010. We did actively look for a place to hold the workshop, as we do in all the cities we are planning to visit. After reviewing everything, we decided to wait until another year to visit Los Angeles and Cleveland.
We are going to Phoenix, however, and hope that you might be able to join us there. Please see the listing of Weekends on our site for the latest updates.

| December 13, 2009 @ 8:59am | An Atlanta workshop would be feasible only if the whole group could go together in a bus - and that would cost extra money each day.
Marietta is smaller, but I don't know about any attractive shooting areas or traffic there.

Marietta, Roswell, Decatur, Alpharetta, Norcross, Stone Mountain, Lithonia, Conyers, Cumming, Douglasville, Fayetteville, etc etc etc -- all suburbs of Atlanta are just extensions of Atlanta and it's traffic.

| Seattle Inspirational Weekend | January 18, 2010 @ 2:54pm | Just finished the Inspirational Weekend in Seattle, and was so glad to get my Craig and Marti, rejuvination/fix. Great workshop and so true to it's Inspirational name.
If there is an Inspirational Weekend near you, I highly encourage you to take part. It will recharge you and inspire you to get out there and shoot, and try different things.
Great job Craig and Marti, and so good to see you both again.
