I just returned from a week in Oslo. What a wonderful place for photography this time of year. The sun stays so low in the sky that the "magic hour" lasts all day.

This is a portion of an artwork on the Oslo waterfront. Particularly in the light that day, it spoke in a way that I won't soon forget.

Does anyone know the names of the artist and the piece? So far I have not been able to find them on the internet.

Cheers
Neil

The shadows make the emotion of anguish so real. It is so sensitive.

Great catch, Neil

What an incredible artwork. Your image with the sun's light gives the art a particularly strong emotion.

Thank you for your responses Wes, Becky, and John.

This is not in Gustav Vigeland's Sculpture Park where the Monolith is. It is a flat marble piece, maybe 3m tall and more that 10m wide, right next to the waterfront. My understanding is that all of Vigeland's work is in the park.

Cheers

Anguish. Your angle and the sun's light certainly make this a very dramatic depiction of Hell's residents. Wow!
