| Seals Of Approval | November 24, 2008 @ 2:40pm | Hello,
Decided to head out to a fairly local nature reserve famous for seals on Sunday. The weatherman on TV told me not to venture out due to adverse weather conditions, namely snow and blizzards. Well the weather guy was right, freezing cold and snow all morning. My fingers are just about thawed.
The first shot I found on the way to the reserve (Twin Chapels Cemetery)
The other pics are of cute cold looking seals

This little fellow came to say hello

I think I am going to get some hot soup or hot chocolate, after viewing these. Especially the 1st one. My fingers are cold just looking at it.
Great capture of the cold and snow. Your B&W really conveys a mood and cold feeling.
If it wasn't for thier warm fur, I would feel bad for the seals.
Nice captures, Tim |

Congrats on getting your camera back and being able to get out and use it again - even tho the weather wasn't too nice.
That cemetery image is fabulous - are those really twin chapels - or twin crypts?
The seals - well, I just love their big round eyes. They always look so innocent and so young. You have some very nice portraits.

Seals are so nice a peaceful to look at. You got some great facial detail in them.

God made two great lights; the sun to rule by day and the moon to rule by night. He also made the stars.
And He set them all in the heavens to give light upon the earth; And God saw that it was good.
Ive seen the light and it is very good |

I saw this series first on Flickr, with no explanation. All I could think of was a seal hunt, and dead or dying seals. :~(
