| Taylor Head, Nova Scotia | August 16, 2010 @ 9:22pm | Here are three shots of the same spot, from different angles.
Low tide, lots of rock weed, and a polarizer ...

Cheers Neil

| August 17, 2010 @ 6:43am | I agree with Rick, Neil. That one and the third are very dynamic, but esp that 2nd one. When I look at the third, even tho my eyes are supposed to start in upper left, they bound almost immediately to lower right and then back again. I find myself wondering what I'd see if I were to move to the right.
I'm glad you included the first, as it gives us an over-all view of the area.

| August 17, 2010 @ 6:51am | Neil - While I agree with Rick and Flo about the 2nd image, my favorite is actually the first. The diagonals in the 1st image pull me in a somewhat gentler way than the 2nd one which feels congruent with the peaceful scene. Also, the "V" shaped cuts in the coastline are echoed nicely in the sky. All three are beautiful, though.

Thanks for your comments. I agree with what you said about the lines formed by the rocks in the final two images. In the third one they do lead your eyes off to the left. I don't know if this would help, but I had thought about displaying them side-by-side, something like the following.

Thanks again Neil
